RIM Doesn't See A Ban On BlackBerry Services In India

BlackBerry maker Research In Motion is sure there will be no ban in India for his services, a senior RIM said on Tuesday."There is no ban on BlackBerry, we are convinced that there is no prohibition in the future," Robert Crow, Vice-president of RIM, told reporters in New Delhi.

India has threatened to shut down RIM's encrypted email and instant messaging services, unless he has access to them in a campaign by the fear that uncontrolled communication puts national security at risk. "We are here for the long term," said Crow.
